and you’re sorted!

Plan it out!

What are the areas that need the most work? How do you clean out your closet?

Regardless of where you start, having a plan for when and what you’re tackling in each room will keep you focused.

Get Ready!

Make sure that you have all of the supplies you need.

Spring cleaning would be annoying if you have to stop and run to the store because you're out of something.

You could even opt for natural cleaning agents.

One at a time!

Why clean your entire home all at once when you can do it one at a time?

Work on 2-3 areas every weekend, you’ll get a lot more done and still have time to relax.

De-clutter & clean!

Put away items you no longer use or need, into a box to either donate or sell it off or recycle or give it away as trash.

You may be periodically cleaning your kitchen, but sometimes we forget about the condiments and the extra things lying around.

When in doubt, throw it out.

While you’re on a cleaning spree, rearrange your décor too. De-clutter every room and go for a new look.

Curtains and blinds are usually neglected. Pay attention to them.

Freshen up your rugs, couch and mattresses too.

De-clutter your closet!

First analyse your closet - Do you like it? Do you wear it? Does it fit?

If no, then you should clean!

It can be time-consuming and even a little overwhelming, but a good cleaning of the closet shouldtake place at least once a year.

Post this, you should shop for things that will help you create and maintain a more organized closet!

Follow top to bottom approach!

Start cleaning from the ceiling to down.

Remove all the dusty cobwebs from the corner, wash the curtains, clean the windows, dust the furniture,

vacuum the furniture and finally, vacuum the floor.

Be patient!

Take your time and let tough surfaces, like the ones in your bathroom and kitchen soak in your cleaning solution.

Work on something else on your list while your cleaner does the hard work.

Treat yourself!

Spring cleaning is a hectic task. You don’t have to do everything in one day.

Occasionally reward yourself for all the hard work you are putting in.

You have worked hard and hence you deserve it!
